Hello my name is Tammy and I am a experienced day home provider in the Hidden Valley area. I have a structured schedule as well as healthy snacks and lunch. I am a mother of two wonderful children my son is 6 and my daughter is 5. We have a pet friendly home, he has his own fenced in area outside. Our day may consist/include a lot of outdoor time (weather permitting), crafts, music, imagination play (costumes), storytime etc. We will spend a lot of time in the back yard once the weather warms up and often spend time at a park that is minutes from my home. My dayhome offers a fun and loving family style environment. have experience with special needs children as well as children with food allergies. I have my current Emergency First Aid and CPR (through Red Cross). We have lots of play time with integrated learning, we have dance parties, arts and crafts, and will be adding in baking days etc.... I like to run my dayhome as if the children were part of our home, for that reason, the kids have access to most of the house. I feel they learn more by interaction and attention when they are engaged in activities they are interested in. We try to have daily story time, weekly crafts, and color as often as we can, have both structured and non-structured play, and get outside to the backyard or on the deck! We serve morning snack @ 9 am, lunch @ 11:30ish and afternoon snack between 3:30 and 4:00pm and should your child be here prior to 8 am we can discuss breakfast, focusing on healthy eating and introducing the children to various fruits and veggies. While I do not claim to use 100% organic products, we do use organic foods, serve some vegan meals, and use as minimally processed food as possible (even pancakes are made from scratch!). Menus are created monthly, as well as a bimonthly newsletters, and daily "report cards" are done up so you know what you child is eating and what their day had been like.
