My name is Linda, and I have successfully operated my day home for the past 20 years. I am certified in first aid, child/infant CPR. I have my level 2 in Early Childhood Education. Current Security check. I also have my Red Seal in commercial cooking. My day home has an 800 Sq foot play room, bathroom that is solely for the children in care. There is a private entrance and parking for my families, and a very large secured back yard/ play ground. I foster an environment for your child that emphasizes individual character development. Themed learning units are planned weekly and are undertaken using a variety of mediums such as arts and crafts; creative movement, music, field trips and free play. Nap time and quiet time is given. A minimum of 5 field trips per month is allotted to venues such as city pools, libraries, zoo, parks and are included in your fees. I also have seasonal, holiday and birthday parties for all of the children in care; and these are also included in your fee. I carry day home insurance as well as transportation insurance. A yearly planner for special events is in effect. Breakfast, Lunches and two snacks are provided and follow the Canadian food guide, and are included in your fee.
